A fun loving young Irish couple living in HongKong returned home to get married and celebrate with their family & friends at the Honan Chapel in UCC and Maryborough House afterwards.
We never got to meet up with them at any stage prior to the wedding, just had a quick chat with Daithi a couple of days prior and knew by the sound of things it was going to be a very chilled out day.
There was serious fun earlier in the morning at the ladies quarters, they got ready in Hayfield Manor and champagne was on tap. Kate Noonan was on make-up and had the ladies looking fabulous when we arrived.
It was one of 3 amazing days that we had this Summer and everyone was saying how lucky they were to come back to Cork and be greeted by hot sun and blue skies.
A couple of times during the day it was obvious that not only were the normal emotions of a wedding day taking over but the fact that Niamh & Daiti are living abroad made it a little more emotional. A particular moment just before Niamh and her Dad were about to walk up the aisle, he had to make a couple of attempts before proceeding. I wasn’t sure if I should let them be or take the shot but I’m glad I did.
As it turned out we had some friends in common and there was a good few familiar faces in the crowd and even a family member. We had a great day and felt like we knew them very well by the time we left.
