Maria & Malcolm followed their dream of a destination wedding and Portugal was their choice.
Involving a wedding planner for such an event is vital as they will have supplier contacts but this couple did their own additional research and Maria said she always admired our work and approached us to travel with them and the fact that they married on a Sunday helped with our availibility.
The excitment was building for them as guests started to arrive all weekend and each arrival led to a another great night.
Sunday finally arrived and everything we envisage about a destination wedding, especially in Europe was available. Blue skies, white washed walls, that amazing church on the hill, cobbled stone streets and of course a beach.
Sunglasses, sun cream, water and cameras at the ready, we headed off in different directions to cover prep and before leaving for the church we managed to get Maria to do some climbing for a couple of bridal portraits.
The venue Vila Vita Parc was spectacular for all the guests to experience but if you know us, the temptation of shooting around the town, using laneways and backdrops of real Portugese life took over before we finished the shoot at the 5 star venue.
Thank you guys for sharing your wedding story with us and roll on April 13 for our next destination wedding.
