On this rainy morning we thought you might enjoy a little insight into how special a wedding can be even in the rain and nothing can take away from young love.

Liz took her time when it came to booking us for her wedding, she was aware of our work through a friend but put a lot of time into researching her photography and after much contact, flew home from London ( another Irish lady who found an English Gentleman) and came to Kerry to visit us with her Mum in tow.

Straight away their enthusiasm for weddings was obvious and when her Mum started crying while looking at a sample wedding album, we thought this could go either way. But they were happy tears as she was envisaging her little girl as a bride. Immediately they both were extremely excited about everything and the lady was happy with her choice.

Needlees to say, it was a Summer wedding which means of course it poured all day, we felt that they were a little disappointed as their  hope for an outside drinks reception at Dromoland was not to be. However we feel that days like this lead to more romance.

We were determined to make them feel the full benefit of the Dromoland experience and walked away thinking we achieved this for them and sometimes you just have to roll with it.

Hope you enjoy!

Ev & Keith
