I can’t believe I never blogged this wedding!
Well, what a great one to kick off the wedding blogs for 2019.
Let us take you back to the melting hot summer of 2018, and please expect to see lots more weddings on the blog from last Summer. Beach weddings are always incredible to shoot but a beach wedding in Crookhaven, West Cork was the bomb! As we drove down into the village the first sign of the wedding was the marquee, which was being finished by the team of caterers and wedding planner, we instantly knew this day was going to be amazing. Georgina and Bryan are based in London so all our contact with over the phone and they wanted exactly what we love, a complete photojournalistic approach to their day. I would guess that 15 minutes were spent on very casual family photography and I had to literally follow them into the water to capture a shot of them in there.
Everyone walked to the most picturesque church and it was like a scene out of the movie to see our amazing bride and her bridesmaids all donned in white follow her up the aisle. Guests made their way back to find Guinness and oysters were served at the pier and the bride & groom jumped into a boat and arrived shortly after.
An outdoor band played for the duration of the drinks reception, while some guests danced and others dipped their toes in the water. What more could you ask for!!
We really don’t need to say anymore, we are excited to share some of the images from the full wedding day and you can sit back and enjoy this destination weddings and maybe you will understand why we completely fell in love with Crookstown and Georgina & Bryan 😉
